“Graduating with a degree in business with a concentration in leadership, Oliviana interned and studied abroad to complement her studies. After graduation, Oliviana accepted a position at the Justice Accelerator at the Hague, Netherlands.”

In her senior year, Oliviana Bailey accepted an internship in the Management Section at the U.S. Consulate General in Milan, Italy after previously studying abroad in Ireland. As a management intern, Oliviana assisted the GSO Officer and the Management Section, in the delivery of support services to the Consulate General’s employees and American family members (more than 100 people). Working closely with Local Employed Staff employees and under the direction of the Management Officer and the GSO Officer, Oliviana learned the fundamentals of administrative support of a U.S. diplomatic post.

Oliviana was tasked with a variety of special projects; including special event/VIP visit coordination, real estate procurement, housing presentations, scanning and organization of residential and functional leases, metric tracking of e-services for Motor pool, contracting, facility maintenance, logistics, and inventory.
