After graduating in 2014 with a BA in Comm Arts, and having taken Professor Rachel Brandoff’s Art Therapy class my last semester, I wanted a to pursue a career in the field. After I graduated, I went back to MMC, taking courses in both psychology and studio art in order to attain the pre-requisites for graduate school. With the support of the psychology and art professors this last year and a half has been the most enjoyable educational experience of my life.
MMC fostered my passion for art therapy and provided me with a road map to a successful future. I received my Master of Professional Studies in Art Therapy and Creativity Development at Pratt Institute in 2017 and am now an Art Therapist at RiverSpring Health working with a geriatric population.
