Jessica Blatt joined Marymount Manhattan College in 2010. Before coming to the College, she taught American politics at Sarah Lawrence College.
Professor Blatt’s research focuses on American political thought and particularly how ideas about difference—race, gender, class, and other categories—interact with political discourse and public policy.
She is the author of Race and the Making of American Political Science (University of Pennsylvania Press 2018). She teaches courses on social and political theory, race, and American political development.
