Gender and Sexuality Studies Club (GSS)

The Gender and Sexuality Studies Club of Marymount Manhattan College is an extension of the GSS Student Advisory Board. The GSS Club hopes to highlight and raise awareness for various issues surrounding gender and sexuality at intersections of race, class, and gender through student led activism on campus and in the community at large. It will address issues on campus that potentially inhibit the productivity of students as students of MMC and as members of the larger community. These issues will be addressed through various events that will explore provoking questions on myriad topics around gender and sexuality.

The GSS will function as an activist based club on campus that aims to gain success through garnering student engagement to address these larger questions that are being posed about gender and sexuality at the campus level and in the community.
