The Marymount Manhattan Choir is group that will serve the purpose of providing a musical outlet for students to learn and hone skills such as sight-reading, vocal tone and pitch, along with other musicianship skills. The Marymount Manhattan Choir aims to create a space at Marymount Manhattan for a general choir as well as up to four a cappella groups - one co-oed group, a male group, a female group, and one other group. The club will shed a positive light on the diversely talented students at Marymount Manhattan College. In addition, the group, being all-inclusive, will provide a place for students of all majors to come together and sing a varied selection of music.
The Marymount Manhattan Choir looks to give Marymount Manhattan College
a greater sense of community through various events such as concerts competitions, and things of that nature within Marymount and outside in the surrounding community.
