Barbara Lynch Loughlin ’70

Ms. Loughlin is an MMC alumna, Class of 1970 who was elected a Trustee in May 2013. She received a M.ED in 1974 and an Educational Specialist in 1977 from the University of Arizona. In 1999 she earned a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University. Since 2003 she has been an educational consultant and volunteer at Our Lady Queen of Angels School, a K-12 school in East Harlem in New York City. Prior to her return to NYC in 2002, Ms. Loughlin, held teaching and administrative positions at the Baltimore County Public Schools, the Center for Thinking at Coppin State University, The PK Yonge Laboratory School at the University of Florida, the City of Tucson Public Schools and the Sacred Heart Cathedral School in Rochester, NY. Ms. Loughlin is a member of the Women‘s Committee of the Executive Committee of the Women’s Health Symposium of Weill Cornell and NYP Hospital and a member of the New York Weill Cornell Council. She is also an Advisory Council member of the Citizen Committee for Children (CCC) and a member of the Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy. Ms. Loughlin serves on the Executive, Governance (Chairperson), Institutional Advancement, Finance and Facilities and the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committees at MMC.
