Helen Pfeffer

Helen Pfeffer is a writer, filmmaker and photographer who received her MFA from Columbia University. She teaches courses in writing for television and other media, film history and analysis, and video production. Her work has been published in Talk Magazine, Radar Magazine, VH1.com and AMCTV.com, among others. Prior to teaching, Helen was the Vice President, Post Production at HQ Productions, Inc., where she produced, directed and edited videos for a wide variety of clients including The Disney Companies, Playboy Enterprises and The Jewish Museum. She was also a contributor to The Landmarks of New York (Harry N. Abrams), and a curator of the video program for the Women’s Caucus in the Arts Conference on Women’s Health.
