Dr. Goldsmith completed her Ph.D. in Business at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. She also holds a M.S. in Marketing and Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Psychology from the University of Florida.
Dr. Goldsmith teaches Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Strategic Management. Her research focuses on consumer behavior and examines how threats to the sense of self, influence consumption behavior. Prior to joining Marymount, Dr. Goldsmith taught marketing and business courses at Baruch College.

Dr. Goldsmith’s research focuses on how consumption behavior changes when a person’s sense of self is threatened. This includes research on identity, differences in public and private behavior, and depicting the self on social media.
