Cameron Kelsall ’10 is the co-lead theater critic and lead opera critic for Broad Street Review, Philadelphia’s leading arts and culture website.
As a freelance journalist, his byline has appeared in Time Out Philadelphia, The Asbury Park Press and Exeunt Magazine, among other publications. He is an active member of the American Theatre Critics Association, serving on the organization’s Membership Committee and Terry Helbing Committee for Gay and Lesbian Interests in Theater.
Mr. Kelsall graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in 2010 with a BA in English and World Literatures. During his time at MMC, he served as president of the Sigma Tau Delta honors society and the Marymount Literary Society, and was editor-in-chief of the Marymount Manhattan Review. He went on to earn an MA in English at Ohio University, where he served as poetry editor of the nationally recognized literary journal Quarter After Eight.
Mr. Kelsall is a sought-after lecturer and moderator on the subjects of theater, opera, chamber music and classical music. He lives with in Collingswood, New Jersey, with his husband, Westly Mandoske. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and playing bridge and mahjongg.
