Mary Brown

Archivist and Bibliographer

Mary Brown came to Marymount Manhattan College as an adjunct professor in 1984. She teaches history, writing and Advanced Interdisciplinary Perspectives (AIP) courses, especially on immigration and on New York City. She became a part-time archivist and bibliographer for MMC’s library in 2001 and a full-time employee in 2005. She also works in the archives of the Center for Migration Studies, where MMC students have found internships.
