Brian received his BA in English and American Literature from Hunter College, his masters in Library Science from Queens College, and has been the Director of the Library at Marymount since 2013. Some of his academic interests include disability studies, universal design, and how digital technology can generate new frameworks for people to become more actively engaged in the world.
Some of Brian’s interest include literature, pop culture, drama, modern art, punk rock, New York City history, cats, and baseball (Let’s Go Mets!). Brian’s three favorite librarians of all time are: Marcel Duchamp, Georges Bataille, and Jack Black (no, not the comic/actor, the author/ex-burglar).
