Dan Walczak is a freelance artist based in Brooklyn, NY. He has been working with Andrea Miller and Gallim Dance since 2008 and has participated in the creation of multiple world premieres and has performed at venues such as the Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Joyce Theater, New York City Center, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Chutzpah! Festival, Theatre National de Chaillot and others across Europe, Canada and the United States. He has taught, set work and assisted at Tish School of the Arts, the Juilliard School, Barnard College, Montclair University, University of Tulsa, Columbia College of Chicago and Connecticut College, among others. Walczak has presented his own work in Jackson Hole Wyoming and The Performing Arts Project, where he was on faculty in 2016 and 2018. He has also worked with MADBOOTS DANCE, LoudHoundMovement, Terndrup/Belchum Productions, Jeanette Stoner and Patricia Noworol Dance Theater.
