Travis Michael Flores ’11
Major at MMC
Travis Flores was drawn to Marymount Manhattan for its city campus and soon felt at home with his classmates, the intimate college environment, and his new stomping grounds. He found his passion for creating, producing, and entertainment management in the classrooms of MMC in addition to bolstering his acting and performance skills. Supportive faculty prepared him for the business side of the industry, encouraging solid communication skills in a social environment and helping to create long-lasting relationships with his peers.
A cystic fibrosis and two double-lung transplants survivor, Travis has dedicated much of his life to philanthropic and charitable initiatives, including the Cystic Fibrosis, Christina Grimmie, and Make-a-Wish foundations. He currently works as an executive producer for DonateLife and is the creator/writer for the upcoming comedy series (sorta) supportive a new show that addresses chronic conditions and disabilities.
Travis is currently battling chronic transplant rejection for the second time and is working to find a third transplant through programs across the country.
