Carla Stickler is a singer, actor, and teacher residing in Brooklyn, NY, best known for her performance as Elphaba on Broadway and in the touring production of Wicked. She has performed the role of Sophie Sheridan in the National Tour of Mamma Mia! and Liesl in The Sound of Music: Asia Tour. Stickler keeps busy doing readings and workshops in the city. She is a world traveler and has headlined as a Guest Entertainer onboard Norwegian Cruise Lines and Disney Cruise Lines. She holds her Master’s Degree in Theatre Education in Colleges and Communities through New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education. As an educator, she travels around the United States teaching masterclasses and maintains a private voice studio in New York City. Stickler has worked closely with The Educational Theatre Association and spent 5 summers attending the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, NE as a teaching artist and guest performer. She holds a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and an MA from NYU’s Steinhardt School of Education. She is a proud member of AEA, NATS, and MTEA.
