Harold Prince Tribute

Harold Smith Prince (January 30, 1928-July 31, 2019), commonly known as “Hal Prince,” was an American theatrical producer and director associated with many of the best-known Broadway musical productions of the 20th century. He was a friend to Marymount Manhattan College, and over the past 30 years, attended performances, participated in interviews (notably with Stephen Sondheim) and answered questions from students. Damon Evans (director) and William Foster McDaniel (musical director) have created a musical a revue of songs from musicals that Harold S. Prince produced or directed which feature “legit” singing with a company of MMC Musical Theatre students. This offering is made possible by the Frederick Loewe Foundation.
