OBIE Award winner Elijah Caldwell, standby in the 2020 Pulitzer and Drama Desk Award winner A Strange Loop, began his journey to being the artist he is at five years old when he began piano lessons. From there, he continued his journey attending the University of North Carolina At Chapel Hill receiving his Bachelors of Music with a focus in Piano Performance, and an addition of voice. Post-graduation, Elijah moved directly to New York City to attend the prestigious New York University - Steinhardt School to begin his acting career. Over the course of two years, Elijah fell in love with theatre. Elijah has had the pleasure of making a name for himself in New York City. He was fortunate enough to audition and be selected as one of Broadways Rising Stars. Elijah has been seen at 54 Below, Birdland Jazz Club, The Green Room, Triad Theatre NYC, New York Theatre Barn, Drom NYC. Currently, Elijah is NYC-based where he is has been a member of The Matthew Corozine Acting Studio for a couple of years. Began as a student of Sheri Sanders, which he has now become an Associate for Rock the Audition. Elijah currently resides in New York, and is currently creating a curriculum that is focused on dismantling white supremacy and uplifting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. #ThisIsCaldwell
