About

Jaynie Saunders Tiller is the managing director/producer of New Georges, a strategically small theater company with a national reputation for taking a first look at new and experimental plays and artists; for its adventurous, boundary-pushing aesthetic; and as a home and a hub for promising and accomplished women+ and TGNC theater artists.

Previously, she worked at the Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York and as part of her graduate studies, worked at BAM, New Dramatists and Princess Grace Foundation. Before moving to New York, she worked for five years in the artistic office at Dallas Theater Center.

In addition to MMC, Jaynie teaches at Montclair State University and Brooklyn College. She has served on panels for Theatre Communications Group, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, Brooklyn Arts Council and A.R.T./New York. Originally from Houston, Jaynie holds a B.F.A. in Drama Performance and a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre Performance from The University of Oklahoma and an M.F.A. in Performing Arts Management from Brooklyn College.
