Hannah Griffee ’21
MMC’s Fashion Marketing concentration seemed like exactly what I was looking for in a major. After getting to MMC, I never doubted that I made the right choice. I am so grateful for MMC, the city, and the friends I made here. I wouldn’t have traded the experience for anything and I feel confident and well-equipped to go out and make things happen for myself.
Hannah Griffee was drawn to going to school in New York because of the independent city lifestyle and opportunities to study fashion. During her time at Marymount Manhattan College, Hannah was recognized for her efforts in the Business Division and dedication to MMC’s chapter of Her Campus. “My advisor, Dr. Martinez-Novoa, helped me realize my fullest potential and guided me towards my goals beyond just picking classes each semester and taught me how to do my best work from my very first college class, The Business of Fashion.”
Outside of school, Hannah sought after fashion industry experience and took advantage of living in NYC by spending the summers interning at showrooms and volunteering at NYFW. She is looking forward to staying in New York for post-grad life and is hoping to continue to immerse herself in her surroundings by writing for a major fashion publication.
