Deanna joined the MMC community in July 2021, in a dual role serving as both Instructional and Adaptive Technologist. As Instructional Technologist, she partners with faculty to design, develop, and implement technology-enhanced teaching and learning initiatives, with an emphasis on online and hybrid learning experiences. As Adaptive Technologist, she supports the Office of Disability Services in providing training and support for students using assistive technologies, as well as making digital learning environments and course materials accessible for all learners.


Deanna has previously held positions at New York University, CUNY Baruch, and Barnard College, and earned her Masters in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute. As a librarian and an educator, she is particularly interested in UDL, inclusive teaching, and critical digital pedagogy. In her free time, Deanna enjoys reading, baking, and gardening.
