About

Karen Sieber is an award-winning choreographer for stage and screen. Raised in Switzerland, her training spanned from Zurich Dance Theater, London Studio Center (England), Raza Hamadi’s Ballet Jazz Art (France), Matt Mattox’s JazzArt (France), to dancing in and assisting Broadway greats on shows such as Some Like It Hot (starring Tony Curtis); Whatever Happened to Baby Jane (starring Millicent Martin); the Hallmark film A Christmas Carol (starring Kelsey Grammer) and many others. She enjoyed performing in shows such as Cats, Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, Very Good Eddie, Radio City Christmas Spectacular and numerous touring and regional productions before turning fully to choreography.

Sieber is known for the world premiere of the musical Holmes, The Legend in Prague (Czech Republic); the re-imagined production of Into The Woods at Theatre Under The Stars (Houston); her work for the Guggenheim Works & Processseries (NYC); the dance film-seriesResistDance; and the films Still Here and Losing Face with music by Ari Asfar. Karen has choreographed premiere productions that have played Off-Broadway, Broadway Workshop productions, as well as many National and International productions and companies.
