About

Elliot Roth (B.S. Music Education/Voice, Duquesne University; M.M. Jazz Performance: dual voice/piano, Manhattan School of Music) is a New York based actor, composer, music direction and clinician. As a jazz and pop vocalist he has been hailed by the New York Times for his “silky smooth voice”. Broadway credits include Our Sinatra (BCC and Algonquin/Oak Room) and A Christmas Carol (Lyceum). He has appeared in Downbeat Magazine as one of the area’s “Top Ten Performers to Watch” and has headlined and music directed shows at Birdland, Joe’s Pub, Symphony Space, 54 Below, Apollo Theater (with Darius Dehaas) and more. Elliot is also resident music director of acclaimed Two River Theater (home of “Be More Chill” world premiere) summer intensives, resident composer for award winning Off-Broadway repertory company Smith Street Stage and currently teaches voice, pop/rock audition technique and arranging as well as jazz/soul recording arts in both Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY
