Shelby Solla

Shelby Solla is a Brooklyn-based playwright and screenwriter from Pittsburgh. Her writing has been developed through Primary Stages, HARP Theatricals, The PIT Loft, Undiscovered Countries, and Pittsburgh New Works Festival’s LabWorks program. As an improviser, she has performed at the Upright Citizens’ Brigade Theater’s Del Close Marathon. The pilot she co-wrote, 1385, was a Second-Rounder in the 2021 Austin Film Festival. Shelby holds B.A.’s in Writing for the Stage and Communication & Media Arts from Marymount Manhattan College.
