About
Ariana Pineda ’22, a Business major with a concentration in Media and Arts Management, completed an internship at Palabras de vida, or Words of life, Christian Center. She assisted the Executive Director in the operations and objectives of the organization, including planning for a major conference that was attended by more than 500 women. Ariana also helped with volunteer affairs, saying of the experience, “Thanks to my Informational Technology class at Marymount, I was able to use Excel skills to gather data about our volunteer personnel and see which service areas need more [support].” Ariana was greatly valued by Palabras de vida and will continue her work there over the summer.
