Anthony Michael D’Agostino, Ph.D. JD, is a Professor of English Literature, private tutor, and attorney whose academic work concentrates on queer cultures and theories, the Victorian novel, feminist political theory, and super-hero comics. His articles, “Flesh-to-Flesh Contact: Marvel Comics’ Rogue and the Queer Feminist Imagination,” and “Telepathy and Sadomasochism in Jane Eyre,” appear in American Literature and Victorians: A Journal of Culture and Literature, respectively. He is also a contributor to Keywords for Comics Studies by NYU Press, and Futures of Cartoons Past: The Cultural Politics of X-Men: The Animated Series.
