“MMC has allowed me to grow and soar as a student and person. The Professors have pushed me and nurtured me into the young professional I am. Now, they are supporting my next adventure as I head to Graduate School to study Marketing, at the Warrington College of Business in the University of Florida.”

About

Originally from a small town of 2,000 in Western NC, Spruce Pine is known as the Gem of the Mountains of NC and I think I found the Gem of NYC: Marymount Manhattan College. I have been able to grow and achieve things I never thought I could with the help of my Professors. My classes have allowed me to see so many different paths I could take in my career. With most of my Professors still working in the Business world, I am able to see how what we discuss in the classroom, actually transpires in the real world.

While at Marymount, I participated in college associations, honors societies, and worked as a tour guide within the Office of Admissions.

Along with my courses, I completed several internships while taking a full course load. I interned for R/GA, a digital design and advertising agency; serving as a Client Services intern and helping oversee a Meta rebranding. I interned at Anteriad, a Fortune 5000 B2B Marketing Agency; serving as a Customer Success Intern and overseeing two high-revenue accounts. In my last semester, I am interning with an LLC in the animal medicine sector; serving as a Marketing Intern.

Although my time has come to an end at Marymount, I truly can never thank the Professors enough for the lessons, the midterms, the exams, and for everything. Each experience has added something special and unique to helping me grow. Now, I am headed to the UF Warrington College of Business for Graduate studies.
