About
(they/them) I’m a Psychology major and Drama Therapy minor. I was born and raised in Livermore, California, an hour east of San Francisco.
What are some of your interests?
I love astrology, sitcoms, and music that sounds like it was made in someone’s basement. My dream is to become a registered drama therapist, helping both people and the field grow.
Why do you want to be a peer mentor?
When I first saw the opportunity for the peer mentorship program, I was a little jealous, to be completely honest! Coming to MMC, I’d heard very little about Drama Therapy but knew deep down it was the career path for me. The trickiest part was researching it; since Drama Therapy is a relatively new niche modality, I had no clue where to start! However, in my two years at MMC, I’ve learned a lot about the steps it takes to become a drama therapist. Although my journey was a little bit of a stumble, I would love to be able to help and support other students so they don’t feel like they had a rocky start.
