Carmen Jackman-Torres

Administrative Secretary II

Carmen Jackman Torres was born in the Republic of Panama, Central America. She came to the U.S. in December of 1982, and has been employed since 1983 as an Administrative Assistant of the Division of Accounting and Business Management at Marymount Manhattan College.

Carmen received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in sociology from Marymount Manhattan College in 1992. She is also certified in paralegal studies and in CPR. She also participated in the revision of the Training Curriculum entitled Cultural Diversity: Linguistic Differences, of the NYSDOH, Bureau of Early Intervention. Carmen enjoys being a bridge builder between students, faculty and administrators.
