Ekin is a second-year doctoral student at Yeshiva University’s Clinical Psychology Psy.D. program. She graduated with a B.S. in psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles where she worked as a research assistant in the Mind-Body Lab and Anxiety and Depression Research Center. Since then, Ekin has worked as an intake coordinator and clinical extern at BALANCE eating disorder treatment center where she assesses clients and aids them into the most clinically appropriate level of care. Ekin’s primary clinical interests surround supporting adolescents and emerging adults experiencing obsessions and compulsions, eating disorders, and transgenerational trauma through an integrative approach based on individual client needs.
