About Evelyn:

Evelyn Johnson is a senior BFA Dance Modern concentration with a double major in Marketing. She is from Atlanta, GA, where she trained with Roswell Dance Theater at the Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance. Her performance credits include The Joyce Theater NYC, Theresa Lang Theater NYC, and City Springs Theater ATL, where she has performed new works and repertory from Mary Ann Lamb, Martha Graham, Netta Yerushalmy, Caleb Teicher, William Isaac, Tracy Vogt, Kassandra Taylor Newberry, and student peers. In Spring ’23, Evelyn choreographed “Automaton” for Marymount’s Dancers At Work performance and is thrilled to present “Aisle 4” for Fall 2023’s DAW installment. She would like to thank her mentors Janis Brenner, Dan Cooper, and Andy Warshaw, as well as her friends and family for supporting her as she follows her most whimsical dreams. IG: @evelyncjohnson
