Professor Dominique Norman is a writer and educator who has focused her academic and career trajectory on diversity, social justice, and inclusion in fashion and media. From creating the first plus-size collection in her undergraduate program as well as one of the only collections to feature all models of color, to facilitating workshops and trainings on DEI topics for educators and administrators in art and design education, she has effected lasting change in both industry and academia.

Professional Experience
Aside from her digitally published work for numerous media outlets including Refinery29, Bustle, Teen Vogue, Essence, and Fashionista, she has also written for several books and journals. She has previously served as a faculty member at Parsons School of Design and LIM College. Her work as a writer and educator critically examines race, gender, the body, sexuality, culture, media, beauty, and fashion.
