“The Psychology Department at MMC is incredible! The professors are extremely encouraging and supportive. Conducting research with my professors and becoming a student leader through the Psychology Club has given me the experience needed to be successful for graduate school and my future career.”

“The Psychology Department at MMC is truly the best. The Psych Department, and Division of the Sciences, is comprised of the most supportive, encouraging, and thoughtful professors. The psychology professors and courses have provided me with the tools and education required to be a competitive candidate for future graduate programs and work experiences. Dr. Linda Solomon’s courses on Experimental Psychology and Behavioral Statistics taught me core psychological ethics, the methodology for designing research projects, and how to analyze data. Dr. Cheryl Paradis’ courses on Forensic and Abnormal Psychology developed my passion for forensics and working in the mental health field. Dr. Nava Silton’s courses of cognitive and developmental psychology provide me with knowledge on psychology through the life span and the chance to work with the Realabilties Research Team on creating comic books to educate children about disabilities and promote a stop-bullying platform. These outstanding professors provided me with opportunities to gain leadership skills, create my own research projects, and present at regional psychological conferences. I am forever grateful to the Psychology Department for their unwavering support and encouragement in everything I pursued.”
