About

In the fall of her junior year, Jamie Allen ’14 secured, with the help of Adrienne Bell, Ph.D., an internship with multi-media artist Jo Wood-Brown. Allen spent the semester helping research lectures the artist gave at galleries throughout the city, as well as personal studio projects for upcoming exhibitions. After the semester was over, she explains, “I not only gained a mentor-student relationship but also a special and important friendship that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Without Marymount Manhattan, I would never have had such a life-changing experience.”
