I graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in January 2013 with a major in Studio Art and a minor in Art Therapy. Since then I have been spending much of my time in the beautiful section of New York called the Bronx, known for hip-hop and street art.
I am currently working at the Bronx River Art Center (BRAC) in the Teen Project Studio program. The main goal is to introduce design and artistic drafting to the youth. In addition to this I also split up time helping BRAC to put on their art gallery shows every other month at their studio space nearby. I am really thankful everyday for the teachers and students in the Marymount Manhattan Art Department for preparing me to be so comfortable and focused in this type of work environment.
Even now as I continue my own personal art career path, I feel more and more confident with the choices I make and how I want to shape my future into a successful and fulfilling one.
