MMC Career Connection: The best way to advertise your position to our student body is through our in-house job server, the MMC Career Connection. This can be accessed here:
Following this link will allow you to register your company or organization. If you do not currently have an account, click on “Sign Up and Post Job” to create a profile and a job posting at the same time. Once registered, you will be able to post open positions for students to view. After a member of our staff reviews the position to ensure it contains all necessary details, it will be posted publicly for our students to access. On-Campus Recruitment Opportunities
EMPLOYER SPOTLIGHT TABLE: In this program, employers can host a table in our Student Commons during peak hours (12:00pm-2:00pm). Students are invited to meet with you and share their resumes. It is a high-traffic area and a great way to get your company known!
MMC CAREER SUMMIT: This is a full-day event held in the spring semester for students to network with employers. The day starts with a Keynote Speaker, followed by panels organized by industry and we finish the day with a networking lunch, This event is free for you to attend to speak with MMC students and alums. It is a great way to pre-screen for possible job and internship candidates!
SITE VISIT: Interested employers can work with a Career Services staff member to coordinate a visit to your company/organization. Site visits may include an office tour, speaking or Q&A sessions with current employees, discussions about job or internship availability, the opportunity for students to share their resumes, or more! We are happy to cater the visit to your unique organizational needs.
MOCK INTERVIEWS: In this program, you come to campus to “mock” interview students to help them prepare for real-world interviews. We provide you with an Interview Evaluation Form to give feedback on a student’s interview skills. After the interview, a Career Services Counselor will meet with the student to discuss the feedback. This is also a great opportunity to interview potential candidates for your positions.
INFORMATION SESSIONS: Periodically, we organize sessions in which interested students gather to listen to a representative from your organization speak about the industry your company represents, ways to prepare for working in the field, information about your company, and the opportunities you offer. The session ends with a Q&A.
Please note that any event your organization participates in will be marketed to all students and alumni. MMC Career Services publicizes all events through email blasts, social media, flyers around campus, and targeted departmental communications.
