The Center for Academic Support and Tutoring (CAST) serves three functions:
- Providing exceptional academic support for all Marymount students.
- Offering workshops and courses in college skills.
- Administering placement exams for incoming students who are eligible
Our professional tutors hold advanced degrees, and peer tutors are top students referred by faculty. We provide a variety of support services for the entire MMC community, including:
- Academic tutoring in subject areas
- Placement testing
- Software training in SPSS and language acquisition
- Jump Start, a summer program for incoming freshmen
