Marymount Manhattan College provides programs and events to welcome and help international students adjust to life at the College as well as celebrate and share their own customs and culture with the MMC community.
Cultural peer mentors (cpm)
The CPMs are a student leaders who helps new international students become acclimated to Marymount Manhattan College and the larger New York City community. Those selected to become CPMs will go through some training by College staff in order to gain skills necessary to serve as a resource for international students. CPMs interact with new international students to provide them with a clear understanding of MMC life and opportunities while encouraging their involvement in the College community. CPMs are role models, advisors, friends, but most of all, they are students themselves who care about how well our students from abroad get integrated into the life of the College.
If you are interested in becoming a CPM or would like more information about the organization, please contact Alison Eassa at firstname.lastname@example.org or 212-517-0484.
