Study Abroad Financial Aid

Financial Aid Options for Studying Abroad

Marymount Manhattan College enriches the undergraduate curriculum by providing students with multiple international opportunities. Matriculated students can apply to spend the Fall, Spring, or Summer terms studying abroad through programs offered by other universities. In order to qualify for these programs, you must receive approval from the Study Abroad and Academic Advisement offices.

Eligible students can receive federal financial aid to study abroad. To determine eligibility, you must have a completed and processed FAFSA application on file. Students can also apply for private loans to finance program costs.

Institutional aid (scholarships and grants) and New York State grants are not applicable towards study abroad programs.

We strongly encourage students to research study abroad external scholarships. For more information regarding these scholarships, please visit the Study Abroad webpage, which provides a vast list of scholarship opportunities.

If interested, we encourage you to schedule a meeting with Asline Zayas, Associate Director of Financial Aid office to review available aid and financing options. You can set-up a zoom meeting directly through MMC Engage.

Allons-y!
