The Dow Zanghi Student Health Center provides primary medical care to Marymount Manhattan students. The Center is staffed by a physician assistant and a medical assistant. It is operated by Mount Sinai Beth Israel/Student Health Services Network in partnership with the College.
All students, including commuters and those living at the other MMC residence halls, may use the Health Center free of charge with a current MMC identification card.

*Lab work, prescriptions and some immunizations, such as the MMR Vaccines or flu shots, have fees associated. These fees may be charged back to the student’s health insurance company.

Meet the Staff
Valine Dieudonne Puntiel is currently the Physician Assistant at the Dow Zanghi Student Health Center. Valine graduated from St. John’s University in 2008 with a BS and Certification in Physician Assistant Studies. She has experience working in Pediatric Primary Care, Cardiac Catheterization & Electrophysiology, OBGYN and Occupational Health.
Pearl Doku is an attentive and detail oriented Administrative and Clinical Medical Assistant with over 5 years experience in a multi-physician family practice. Pearl is an AMT Certified Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) and has a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Kaplan University (2015).
