With a new semester coming in we welcomed our class of 2026 and congratulated our Fall 2022 graduates! Join us in the 7th edition of our HEOP works newsletter and see how our HEOP students continue to go above and beyond on and off campus as we highlight their leadership, accomplishments, and service.

Issue 6, Spring 2022

After a long semester we are excited to welcome and congratulate our new HEOP director Tseday Alehegn along with congratulating our graduates. In our 6th issued HEOP Works newsletter our students are excelling in getting through COVID-19 as they partake in, in person internships and HEOP community events.  

Issue 5, Fall 2021

As we all continue to adapt and recover from the effects of Covid-19 we are excited to finally share the fifth edition of our HEOP Works Newsletter! After a long-awaited time, our HEOP office opened its doors to our students and welcomed the class of 2025! This semester our HEOP community came back together better than ever with new events and with the continuation of the Leadership Council, Young Men’s Initiative and No Peer Left Behind program we continue to support our students academically and professionally.

HEOP Newsletter third edition Issue 3, Fall 2020

Anaya Bond ’24, Chief Editor and Public Relations Manager has released our third HEOP Works Newsletter! This newsletter highlights the academic and professional accomplishments of our students and the many ways we we continued supporting HEOP through programming, support groups and other initiatives.

Despite a tumultuous semester, MMC’s Higher Education Opportunity Program undoubtedly persevered. The second edition of HEOP Works showcases the group’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its creative solutions to remote learning, as well as celebrates the successes of the graduating Class of 2020.
