Brightspace Pulse is a mobile app that can help learners stay connected and on track with their courses in Brightspace Learning Environment. It provides one easy view of course calendars, readings, assignments, evaluations, grades, and announcement items.
This introductory webinar will cover the basics of a Brightspace course site, including a demo of a fully built out course site. Viewers can expect to come away with an understanding of how to upload a syllabus and other course documents, build course structure using the Content tool, communicate with students using bulk email and Announcements, and create a basic Assignment.
Our intermediate level workshop focuses primarily on the Discussions and Quizzes tools. Learn the difference between a discussion forum and topic, how to assess discussions, and how to create basic quizzes.
This workshop is a deep dive into all things grades and grading. Learn how to set up your gradebook from scratch, how to grade various types of assessments, how to create a custom grade scheme, and more. Additional grading tools such as Quick Eval and Course Progress are also covered.
We offer a series of three Brightspace workshops - an introduction, an intermediate level, and a Grades Intensive - which are scheduled through out the fall, January, and spring semesters. See the schedule and register for upcoming workshops here: Brightspace Training Workshops 2021-22.
