Log on to Blackboard. Click on a course for the Fall semester (all new courses will now have the semester and year in their title, e.g., INTRO TO SOCIOLOGY – Fall 2021)

After you enter the course, look to the right-hand side of your screen and you will see an icon of a red lock—this means that your course is currently locked and unavailable to your students (see image below). If you have decided to use Blackboard for the Fall semester for this course, you would need to click on that lock icon to “unlock” the course for the semester.
