Parents & Family Orientation

New and returning students at Marymount Manhattan College are not the only ones gearing up for the Fall 2017 semester! On August 25, 26 and 27, parents and families of MMC students will have the opportunity to get better-acquainted with the College. At this orientation event, parents and families can learn more about how to stay informed and connected with their students throughout the year.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet President Kerry Walk, Ph.D, as well as members of the Marymount Manhattan administration and faculty. Professors from each Division will offer Mini-Classes by Master teachers, giving parents a 30-minute experience of teaching and learning.

For those who were unable to attend Griffin Days, we will also have a session on “Gaining Peace of Mind,” presented by our Counseling and Wellness Center Counselors along with Vice President for Student Affairs & Dean of Students, Carol L. Jackson.

A Reception will be held on the Lowerre Family Terrace, where families can meet and greet others who are going through the same experience of joy, relief and excitement, as well as staff members available to answer any questions.

Registration opens July 1.
