COVID-19 Dashboard
MMC’s COVID-19 dashboard is regularly updated to keep our community safe and informed. All MMC students, faculty, and staff are required to provide proof of full vaccination (or apply for an exemption). It is critical that all members of our community continue to report symptoms or positive cases to safety@mmm.edu. Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 should self-isolate immediately, contact safety@mmm.edu, and seek medical attention if necessary.

Contact Tracing
The College has identified a cadre of Marymount Manhattan College employees, who have all taken the Johns Hopkins Coursera Course for contact tracing, to provide contact tracing within the MMC campus community, on Main Campus, and in the MMC Residence Halls. If a case of COVID-19 is confirmed on campus or within the MMC campus community, MMC Contact Tracers will inform NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYCDOHMH) only as required by applicable law. To the extent possible, Contact Tracers will work with the NYC DOHMH to conduct contact tracing.
Contact Tracers will conduct contact tracing to help identify:
- MMC facilities that may require cleaning and disinfection after a confirmed case has been identified; and
- “Close contacts” (as defined by the CDC) of the confirmed case. Close contact is defined as contact within six feet of an infected individual for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.
Additionally, Contact Tracers will seek out the help of NYC DOHMH (to the extent possible) to determine what, if any, community transmission has been identified and whether MMC can continue to contain/manage confirmed case(s) within their own facilities.
Notification, Quarantine, Isolation, and Tracing
In the event of a confirmed case of COVID-19, the College will follow contact tracing and notification protocols as directed by local and state health authorities.
