Use New York City as your living laboratory as you analyze how government policy impacts nature, and how it impacts people. Our interdisciplinary approach to Environmental Studies means you’ll understand challenges caused by climate change and globalization from many perspectives.

Spend time outdoors conducting fieldwork in the city. Focus on issues unique to the urban environment. Take advantage of internship opportunities in public policy, environmental conservation, and urban resource management. Volunteer for organizations doing the work you believe in.

What You Will Learn as an Environmental Studies Major
